Good automation doesn’t come about simply by buying technology and hoping for the best. It is built around production objectives. Pro-Tot designs, manufactures, installs and commissions automation solutions that improve capacity, quality, safety and production efficiency.
1. Design and technology. The right solution for the right place.
Automation begins with understanding. We analyse production needs, bottlenecks and areas for improvement before designing any solutions. Preliminary design, automation design, mechanicaland electrical automation design, control systems, PLC and HMI solutions, machine vision, robotics and track automation are all designed to support the practical automation of production.
2. Automation installations and project management. We’ve got everything firmly under control.
Pro-Tot manages automation projects from specification through to procurement, manufacturing, electrical and automation installations, and machine and equipment integration. When automation installations get underway, every party involved knows what needs to be done, when it needs to be done and why. No projects that drift off course. No unnecessary adjustments. We see it through to the finish line just as it should be.
3. Testing, implementation and training. No guesswork – just a fully functional system.
Solutions are thoroughly tested prior to commissioning. FAT ensures functionality prior to delivery, whilst SAT finalises the work on-site in a real production environment. We handle validation, user training and commissioning to ensure that automation, robotics and control systems become an integral part of day-to-day production. Once we’re ready, production doesn’t hesitate. It just gets on with it.
4. Modernisation, robotics and lifecycle support. Development does not end with commissioning.
Automation isn’t complete simply by switching it on. We support production after commissioning, assist operators and maintenance teams, and develop the systems throughout their lifecycle. Modernisation, the introduction of robotics, safety improvements and enhancements to production efficiency are carried out at the right time, before the line starts to falter.
